For the record, yesterday marked Will's 7th Wednesday and our 7th week in the NICU. In many ways the experience seems like one long day, yet at other times it seems like years. Fortunately, Will is steadily growing. He is a little over 16 inches long, having grown an inch, and he now weighs 4lbs., 3oz. You might notice that his features have changed, his legs are beginning to add weight and he's out grown his little red hat. Visitors often say that he looks "HUGE." Not sure he's exactly huge, but anyone that saw him a month ago would easily notice his growth.Tomorrow I am posting a small excerpt that details his feeding.
Hello Mark, Nichole and Will,
ReplyDeleteThanks for including me in this wonderful way of keeping track of Will and all that you guys are doing, it's wonderful it's hard to beleive that it's been 7 weeks already.
I am so glad that Steve and I got up there Sunday to see Will and you guys, he's a great looking baby. I look forward to seeing him someday run through the back yard causing all the trouble he can for you (and Steve :) LOL).
Will is currently at the weight that I was born at and I didn't turn out too bad, (well I don't think that I did anyways) so there is something wonderful to look forward to ahead, us early kids are what are the shakers and the moovers in the world.
Know that I think of you daily and look forward to seeing you guys again soon.
Love from the north,
Lee
What a handsome young boy!
